The original island-red and honey-colored brick chimney (probably ballast from a sailing ship) is revealed in the bathroom a compliment to the Victorian pedestal sink. Adding to the room’s character is the headboard once a fireplace mantle original to the house. Pine floors with old square nails were found during the renovation under three layers of flooring and carpet. The room has a flat screen TV and DVD player.
